Our magnificent graduation ceremony  took place at the Château Reception Hall on the 12th of June 2015.  More than a thousand parents, friends, sponsors and invited guests were present to see the graduating class of 2015 receive their diplomas and prizes.

The ceremony began with the benediction of Father Zisis and Father Demetrios.  Our masters of ceremony,  Elli Mandalenakis and Chris Filandrianos, then took over.  We thank all four.

The whole event made the students, their parents and the staff of Socrates-Démosthène very proud.

Top students, Despina Mistos, of Socrates V and Aristidis Zergiotis of Socrates III eloquently communicated what their years at Socrates-Démosthène meant to them and their classmates.

This year, we remitted the honorary diploma to the late Mr Orpheas Vosniadis whom for years devoted his time to fundraising for our schools. When he had learned that he would receive such an honor he was overjoyed but sadly he passed away shortly before the ceremony,  His wife, Mary, accepted the honor in his name.  A former student of our school, she moved everyone present with her heartfelt speech.

We also honored many retiring teachers that leave our school with an enduring heritage;  Nadia Hamawy, Hélène Agha, Georgia Papacostas, Eliana Eliopoulos, et Efthimia Papageorgiou, Maria Sarantidis, Anastasia Tzotzis, and Chrisoula Petimeza.

Our graduates danced tirelessly into the night after an unforgettable night.
