Notre premi\u00e8re r\u00e9jouissance o\u00f9 le fils et la parole de Dieu devient l’homme qui, par Son sacrifice, lib\u00e8re l’homme de ses p\u00e9ch\u00e9s.<\/p>\n

Notre seconde r\u00e9jouissance a marqu\u00e9 le soleil de la libert\u00e9 pour notre Nation asservie. Les h\u00e9ros de 1821, ces gens simples dont la bravoure et la soif de libert\u00e9 en ont fait des guerriers immortels, ont affront\u00e9 les t\u00e9n\u00e8bres de quatre cents ann\u00e9es d\u2019occupation pour assurer la pr\u00e9servation et la p\u00e9rennit\u00e9 de leur histoire et de leur patrimoine ! 1821 est l\u2019affirmation que la Gr\u00e8ce n’\u00e9tait pas morte, aux aguets durant les si\u00e8cles d’occupation turque, \u00e9veill\u00e9e dans l’\u00e2me et libre d’esprit !<\/p>\n

A l’aube du 25 mars 1821, au Monast\u00e8re d’Agia Lavra, le v\u00e9n\u00e9rable Hi\u00e9rarque du Vieux Patras Germanos, leva la banni\u00e8re de la r\u00e9volution et tous, ma\u00eetres d\u2019armes, armatoles des milices, voleurs et tout le peuple jur\u00e8rent : \u00ab\u00a0Que ce soit \u00e0 Moria ou dans le monde entier, aucun Turc ne doit rester\u00a0\u00bb. L’ensemble de notre nation alors asservie a r\u00e9pondu pleinement ! Kolokotronis, Diakos, Androutsos, Karaiskakis, Papaflessas, Makrigiannis, Botsaris, Nikitaras, Miaoulis, Kanaris, Bouboulina et tant d’autres prirent les armes et \u00e9cras\u00e8rent l’ennemi ! Les libres assi\u00e9g\u00e9s de Messolonghi ont tent\u00e9 une sortie h\u00e9ro\u00efque, les femmes de Souli ont dans\u00e9 \u00e0 Zalongo la danse de la mort. Le peuple grec, au cours de son histoire vari\u00e9e, non seulement ne s\u2019est pas \u00e9teint et n’a pas disparu, mais a su garder sa conscience nationale intacte, a pris les armes, s’est battu avec acharnement et a finalement gagn\u00e9 leur libert\u00e9. Le Grec et l’occupation sont deux choses compl\u00e8tement oppos\u00e9es, tout \u00e0 fait inconciliables. L’\u00e2me grecque ne peut vivre dans l’esclavage.
