Cela leur permet d&#8217;aller au fond d&#8217;eux-m\u00eames afin de d\u00e9couvrir ce qui les passionne et d&#8217;\u00e9largir leurs comp\u00e9tences.<br \/>\nC&#8217;est \u00e9galement un interaction through our seniors and our youth. It is a great way to give back to the community and create new bonds and lifelong friendships as well.<br \/>\nMore specifically, a senior will \u201cadopt\u201d a teenager, s\/he will be its mentor and support open discussions. The main idea is to pair up the two age groups to chat, share concerns, play games, participate in various activities and discussions and gain a positive experience and impact for both sides.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>benefits<\/strong>\u00a0of the mutual interaction between the two age groups are the following:<\/p>\n<p>For the\u00a0<strong>seniors<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They feel valued and have a purpose in life<\/li>\n<li>They are encouraged to transfer their knowledge to the youth<\/li>\n<li>It prevents their isolation and rapid decline<\/li>\n<li>It motivates them to stay healthy and active<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For the\u00a0<strong>young:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>They will increase their empathy towards the elderly<\/li>\n<li>\u00a0They will build essential life skills such as long term planning and time management<\/li>\n<li>They will enrich their CV with a certified volunteer time in the community<\/li>\n<li>The students\u2019 involvement in the community helps them to get prepared for what comes next and get excited about the future!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Both sides can be inspired and motivated by each other!
