To help better serve and accommodate our clients, École Socrates-Démosthène offers childcare on site, an after-school program called Service éducatif parascolaire (SÉP).

This quality service is reflected in a harmonious, stimulating and safe environment that promotes the overall development of children. The SÉP philosophy is based on the 5 principles of the educational program of the Ministry of Family and Seniors (MFA).

– Each child is unique;

– The child is the first agent of its development;

– The development of the child is a comprehensive and integrated process;

– Children learn through play;

– Collaboration between the SÉP staff, school staff and parents is essential to the harmonious development of the child.

The Educators and Childcare Technicians: Professionals you can trust

The role of educators and technicians evolves continuously. In addition to having their first aid and CPR training, they also exert a role of education, socialization and mentoring to children. Thanks to their skills and expertise, educators and technicians play an important role in the development of young children. They guide them and accompany them in their journey, their activities and their daily experiences throughout their transition to our school while ensuring compliance with their health, security and integrity. In addition to the same responsibilities as educators, technicians oversee the operations of their campuses, ensure the implementation of program activities, manage material resources (recommend the purchase of equipment, games, etc.) and acts as a communicator and support with the coordinator.
