Dear grade six Parents,<\/h6>\n
After the incredible success of our School\u2019s three first Ultimate Educational Trips to Greece, we are extremely pleased to announce that there will be a 4th<\/sup>\u00a0edition of the trip next June, for the graduating class of 2016. This trip will take place after the graduation, scheduled for June 17th<\/sup>. Regular classes will be available for grade-sixers that will not participate on the trip.<\/h6>\n
The trip has three basic components. For the first four days the children will stay at a hotel in Molai-Monemvasia where the local Educational and Environmental Center educators will put together an enriched program for our students that will include visits to numerous historic sites in the surrounding area. Sleeping accommodation and three meals a day are being provided. Continuing their trip they will spend another 2 days in Olympia with guided tours in the surrounding area. For the last two days the children will be accommodated at the Mantas Hotel in Loutraki, a hotel a few steps from the beach. From there the children will be offered a guided tour of Athens, Acropolis, Epidaurus and many more places. They will be accompanied by teachers and directors (ratio1 to 10).<\/h6>\n

The dates of the trip are from the 19th<\/sup>\u00a0to the 27th<\/sup>\u00a0of June.\u00a0 The price is $2100.00 per student. In order to facilitate the booking process and better accommodate our families without financially overburdening them, please take note of the following payment schedule (by certified cheque or cash):<\/h6>\n

    The 1st<\/sup>\u00a0payment ($600.00) must be made by December 14th\u00a0<\/sup>2015<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

    This unique educational experience will include the following:<\/h6>\n

      Round-trip non-stop flight with Air Transat to Athens (departure Sunday June 19th<\/sup>\u00a0and return on\u00a0 Monday June 27th<\/sup>)<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      For the first four days and three nights: accommodation at a hotel in Molai-Monemvasia<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      The following 2 days and 2 nights: accommodation at a hotel in Olympia<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      On Saturday the 25th<\/sup>\u00a0after leaving the hotel in the morning, the students will visit Epidaurus Theater, have lunch at Nafplio, and visit the Mycenae site<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      On Sunday the 26th<\/sup>\u00a0the students will be given a professionally guided tour of Athens including a climb up the Acropolis and will have lunch in Plaka<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      All local transportation will be via an air-conditioned tour bus<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n

      Full medical and cancellation insurance is included<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n
    • \n
      Emergency 24-hour assistance from the tour operator Voyages Objectif Terre is also included<\/h6>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
      No other fees will be required by the parents. The children can be given some spending money for such things as small souvenirs. A valid Canadian passport is of course a prerequisite. In the event that we do not have sufficient confirmations, the School reserves the right to cancel the trip. All fees will be fully reimbursed. The School also has the right to refuse any child for behavioural or medical reasons. Furthermore, if the Greek Government withdraws its support for this project, all sums will be reimbursed.<\/h6>\n
      Our School acknowledges that this is a major venture and that parents might have safety and security concerns. For many it might be the first time their children are travelling abroad without their parents for an extended period of time. We want to assure you that all necessary precautions (health and welfare) have been taken into consideration in order to ensure your child has a wonderful experience. Finally, the School is open to the possibility of leaving a child with family in Greece for an extended vacation should the family so desire. Additional fees may be applicable should such a request be made.<\/h6>\n

      Inscription<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      En r\u00e9ponse \u00e0 votre demande de voyage, vous recevez un document d\u00e9crivant l\u2019itin\u00e9raire choisi, un devis, un contrat et les conditions g\u00e9n\u00e9rales de vente.\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0se r\u00e9serve le droit, avant la conclusion d\u00e9finitive du contrat, de modifier l\u2019organisation du circuit selon la disponibilit\u00e9 des billets d\u2019avion, de train, d\u2019autocar, de traversier et d\u2019h\u00e9bergement aux dates du voyage. L\u2019identit\u00e9 compl\u00e8te (nom et premier pr\u00e9nom) de chaque participant doit \u00eatre re\u00e7ue au plus tard soixante (60) jours avant la date de d\u00e9part.<\/h6>\n
      Tarifs<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0vous fait parvenir un devis personnalis\u00e9 indiquant le prix exact par personne, selon vos dates de d\u00e9part, les prestations fournies et celles demeurant \u00e0 la charge du groupe. Les prix sont \u00e9tablis en fonction des conditions \u00e9conomiques en vigueur au moment de l\u2019\u00e9tablissement du devis. Toute modification, attribuable \u00e0 une fluctuation des taux de change, des tarifs de transports, des redevances et des taxes aff\u00e9rentes aux prestations offertes, entra\u00eenera un changement de prix dont nous vous informerons au plus t\u00f4t et plus de 30 jours avant le d\u00e9part. Ce changement de prix ne pourra exc\u00e9der 7% d\u2019augmentation du co\u00fbt du forfait sans obtenir votre autorisation. Voyages Objectif Terre se r\u00e9serve le droit d\u2019ajuster la tarification du voyage advenant une fluctuation majeure du taux de change (plus de 8%) entre l\u2019inscription et la remise de la liste finale de participants (60 jours avant le d\u00e9part).<\/h6>\n
      Organisation du voyage<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0est garant de l\u2019organisation du s\u00e9jour et responsable de sa bonne ex\u00e9cution, sauf en cas d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e9nement de force majeure, tel que conflit, guerre, activit\u00e9 terroriste, catastrophe naturelle, gr\u00e8ve, changement d\u2019horaire, de lieu d\u2019h\u00e9bergement ou de mode de transport attribuable \u00e0 des \u00e9v\u00e9nements impr\u00e9visibles ou si le fait est imputable \u00e0 l\u2019acheteur.\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0se d\u00e9gage de toute responsabilit\u00e9 dans le cas o\u00f9 un retard serait attribuable \u00e0 une compagnie a\u00e9rienne.<\/h6>\n
      Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>, l\u2019organisateur et\/ou leurs prestataires proc\u00e8dent \u00e0 toutes les r\u00e9servations pour le transport, l\u2019h\u00e9bergement, les restaurants, les visites, et sont soumis aux conditions impos\u00e9es par les grossistes et\/ou les prestataires. L\u2019organisateur, au seul titre d\u2019agent de voyages, ne peut \u00eatre tenu responsable de la qualit\u00e9 des services offerts dans les lieux d\u2019h\u00e9bergement ou \u00e0 bord des v\u00e9hicules de transport utilis\u00e9s ni dans tout autre \u00e9tablissement visit\u00e9 au cours du voyage.       Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0se r\u00e9serve le droit \u00e0 sa seule discr\u00e9tion d\u2019annuler ou de modifier le programme en tout ou en partie, \u00e0 quelque moment que ce soit. Le passager a la responsabilit\u00e9 d\u2019\u00eatre suffisamment en sant\u00e9 et autonome pour entreprendre le voyage. Dans le cas o\u00f9 un passager aurait une conduite pr\u00e9judiciable aux autres voyageurs et\/ou aux accompagnateurs et\/ou aux prestataires de services, le passager pourra \u00eatre expuls\u00e9 du groupe par le responsable du groupe et devra assumer seul tous les frais occasionn\u00e9s par sa conduite, y compris tous les frais suppl\u00e9mentaires que le passager devra d\u00e9bourser pour son transport, son h\u00e9bergement et son s\u00e9jour. Lorsqu\u2019apr\u00e8s le d\u00e9part du groupe, l\u2019un des \u00e9l\u00e9ments essentiels du contrat ne peut \u00eatre ex\u00e9cut\u00e9, Voyages Objectif Terre s\u2019engage \u00e0 proposer des prestations de remplacement de valeur \u00e9gale ou \u00e0 rembourser la diff\u00e9rence de prix entre les prestations pr\u00e9vues et celles qui ont \u00e9t\u00e9 fournies.<\/h6>\n
      Annulation, remboursement<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      En cas d\u2019annulation de la totalit\u00e9 des participants,\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0remboursera les sommes non engag\u00e9es aupr\u00e8s des prestataires de services, en y d\u00e9duisant des frais administratifs de 100\u00a0$ par personne. Si le voyage doit \u00eatre annul\u00e9 par\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>, la totalit\u00e9 des sommes vers\u00e9es par le groupe est restitu\u00e9e. Toute modification ou correction aux dispositions d\u00e9j\u00e0 prises (changement de dates, de destination ou d\u2019\u00e9pellation de noms), sera sujette \u00e0 la disponibilit\u00e9 et entra\u00eenera des frais.<\/h6>\n
      En cas d\u2019annulation individuelle, quelque soit la raison\u00a0:\u00a0<\/strong>
      \n– du moment de l\u2019inscription \u00e0 60 jours avant le d\u00e9part: retenues de 30\u00a0% du forfait terrestre;
      \n– entre 59 et 30 jours avant le d\u00e9part\u00a0: 60\u00a0% du forfait terrestre;
      \n– moins de 30 jours du d\u00e9part\u00a0: 100\u00a0% du forfait terrestre.
      \nDans le cas de la portion transport a\u00e9rien, les conditions de remboursement des compagnies a\u00e9riennes s\u2019appliquent. SVP noter qu\u2019\u00e0 moins de 60 jours du d\u00e9part, il est rare d\u2019obtenir un remboursement pour le billet d\u2019avion.
      \nIl est important de noter que les remboursements ne peuvent avoir lieu que si le nombre minimum de participants sur lequel a \u00e9t\u00e9 fix\u00e9 le prix du forfait reste atteint.
      \nL\u2019assurance annulation est votre seule protection financi\u00e8re dans le cas d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e8nement impr\u00e9vu et important\u00a0qui n\u00e9cessite l\u2019annulation du voyage (maladie, accident, d\u00e9c\u00e8s dans la famille, etc.).
      \nAucun remboursement ne peut \u00eatre exig\u00e9 pour tout service non utilis\u00e9 pendant le voyage.<\/h6>\n
      D\u00e9sistement, rapatriement\u00a0<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      En cas d\u2019expulsion d\u2019un passager par le responsable du groupe ou de retour anticip\u00e9 pour des raisons personnelles,\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0ne sera responsable envers ce passager d\u2019aucun remboursement et\/ou d\u00e9dommagement, quelle que soit la nature.\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0se r\u00e9serve le droit de refuser l\u2019inscription d\u2019un passager qui ant\u00e9rieurement aurait nui au bien-\u00eatre d\u2019un groupe avec lequel il a voyag\u00e9.<\/h6>\n
      Publicit\u00e9<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      Chaque participant consent \u00e0 ce que\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0utilise \u00e0 des fins de publicit\u00e9 et de promotion son image vid\u00e9o ou sa photographie, pourvu qu\u2019il s\u2019agisse d\u2019une prise de vue d\u2019un groupe (pas de photo individuelle), sous quelque forme que ce soit et dans quelque m\u00e9dium que ce soit et ce, \u00e0 perp\u00e9tuit\u00e9 et sans compensation.<\/h6>\n
      Assurance, assistance<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      Voyages Objectif Terre\u00a0<\/strong>souscrira sur demande \u00e0 une assurance voyage compl\u00e8te pour chacun des participants. Nous vous sugg\u00e9rons la protection du forfait Croix Bleue, qui couvre les frais m\u00e9dicaux \u00e0 l\u2019\u00e9tranger, l\u2019assurance annulation, l\u2019assurance accident et l\u2019assurance bagage. L\u2019assurance annulation est votre seule protection dans le cas d\u2019un \u00e9v\u00e8nement hors de contr\u00f4le comme un d\u00e9sastre naturel (volcan) ou une crise politique (\u00c9gypte). Une liste d\u00e9taill\u00e9e de ce qui est couvert vous sera remise avec votre devis. En signant ce contrat, le client admet du m\u00eame coup que l\u2019assurance lui a \u00e9t\u00e9 propos\u00e9e.\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0ne peut donc \u00eatre tenu responsable pour les pertes occasionn\u00e9es si des participants ne souscrivent pas \u00e0 l\u2019assurance que nous proposons.<\/h6>\n
      R\u00e9clamation<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      Dans le cas o\u00f9 le responsable du groupe veut saisir\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0d\u2019une r\u00e9clamation pour inex\u00e9cution ou mauvaise ex\u00e9cution de contrat, il doit en informer\u00a0Voyages Objectif Terre<\/strong>\u00a0par lettre recommand\u00e9e dans un d\u00e9lai de 30 jours suivant le voyage et fournir toutes les pi\u00e8ces justificatives permettant d\u2019\u00e9tablir la r\u00e9alit\u00e9 du pr\u00e9judice all\u00e9gu\u00e9. Apr\u00e8s ce d\u00e9lai, nous ne prendrons en consid\u00e9ration aucune r\u00e9clamation.<\/h6>\n
      Formalit\u00e9s administratives<\/strong><\/h6>\n
      Le passager doit s’informer des formalit\u00e9s administratives et\/ou sanitaires n\u00e9cessaires \u00e0 l’ex\u00e9cution du voyage. Il appartient au passager d’en prendre connaissance. L’accomplissement et les frais r\u00e9sultants de ces formalit\u00e9s de police, douane et sant\u00e9 exig\u00e9es pour votre voyage, tel que passeport, carte de r\u00e9sident permanent, autorisation parentale, visa, certificat m\u00e9dical, carnet de vaccinations incombent au passager. Nous attirons votre attention sur le fait que la r\u00e9glementation impose une validit\u00e9 des passeports sup\u00e9rieure \u00e0 6 mois suivant la date du retour. Par ailleurs, les enfants mineurs doivent \u00eatre imp\u00e9rativement en possession de papiers d’identit\u00e9 \u00e0 leur nom. Si notamment du fait du non-respect de ces formalit\u00e9s administratives et sanitaires, le passager se trouvait dans l’impossibilit\u00e9 de prendre le d\u00e9part \u00e0 la date indiqu\u00e9e, le prix pay\u00e9 ne pourrait en aucun cas \u00eatre rembours\u00e9.<\/h6>\n
