{"id":28388,"date":"2020-06-13T15:20:01","date_gmt":"2020-06-13T19:20:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.socdem.org\/?p=28388"},"modified":"2020-06-13T15:20:04","modified_gmt":"2020-06-13T19:20:04","slug":"june-13th-2020-message-from-the-director-general","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.socdem.org\/en\/june-13th-2020-message-from-the-director-general\/","title":{"rendered":"June 13th, 2020 Message from the Director General"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Dear parents and friends,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">We hope you and your families are remaining healthy and strong as we&nbsp;get set for the last week of what has been simply an incredible school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Since our School will not be able to hold its Graduation Gala this year, we have&nbsp;come up with all kinds of creative ideas&nbsp;in providing our Graduating Class of 2020 their diplomas and achievement awards. In collaboration with our&nbsp;fabulous&nbsp;Parent Grad Committees,&nbsp;over the next week or so,&nbsp;each campus will organize local activities, respecting the Public Health guidelines, towards this end.&nbsp;This remarkable effort to honor our graduates will also offer many memorable surprises for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">Our teachers, with the help of their principals and guidelines from the Ministry of Education, have started preparing the final evaluations. Report cards will be issued at the end of the school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">As for the next school year, we are scheduled to resume classes on the 27<sup>th<\/sup>\u00a0of August at all our campuses. M\u00c9ES is currently reviewing the most ideal scenarios and options taking into consideration all health protocols for both elementary and high schools for next year. We expect the Minister of Education to make the\u00a0final\u00a0decisions in the coming\u00a0days. This information will be communicated to you as soon as it becomes available.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-normal-font-size\">In reference to\u00a0the school uniform for next year,\u00a0online ordering with Maison d\u2019Uniformes Lemira is well underway.
