Dear parents and students,

I hope you had a wonderful summer with your loved ones, with time to rest, enjoy the warm weather, and recharge for the new school year. It is with great enthusiasm that I welcome you back.

Throughout the summer, the teams at the Hellenic Community of Greater Montreal and our schools worked tirelessly. We invested considerable funds across all five campuses to renovate our facilities, carry out major repairs, and improve our learning spaces. Our students will return to modernized, stimulating, and welcoming environments.

Our educational teams also worked hard to review and strengthen our programs. This includes preparing for the transition to the new French curriculum, scheduled for 2027–2028, expanding digital learning, using differentiated instruction, and placing greater emphasis on the fine arts.

From preschool through secondary school, our mission remains the same: to provide personalized education, supported by a level of guidance and care that is unique in Quebec. The results speak for themselves: our primary school students gain admission to their first choice of secondary school, while our Secondary IV and V students excelled in the Quebec Ministry of Education’s provincial examinations.

Our graduates earned their Secondary School Diplomas (DES) with distinction, and all were admitted to their first choice of CEGEP program.

Children are, and always will be, at the heart of every decision we make and every priority we set.

I wish you all an excellent school year filled with success, discovery, and personal growth.

Welcome back!

P.S. I also invite you to read this article in the Greek newspaper To Vima, which highlights the exceptional work of our secondary school Greek teacher, Ms. Dimitra Vaïtsi, and our students.
