Graduating class of 2005, Socrates II campus: Cassandra Kouremenos, known by her stage name KALLITECHNIS, is a musician known for her warm, moving voice. She was nominated for Best Contemporary R&B Recording of the Year at the 2022 Juno Awards. This rising star is currently working in Los Angeles on a project entitled MOOD RING, to be released in autumn/winter 2023.

Graduating class of 2005, Socrates III campus: Dr. Stamatis Kouniaris is a dentist. He completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine at McGill’s Faculty of Dentistry. He served as Chief Resident during his residency at the Jewish General Hospital. Prior to undertaking his studies in dentistry, Stamatis obtained a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and Cell Biology from McGill University. During his studies, Stamatis received a number of awards for his academic achievements, including the Hellenic Scholarship Foundation Scholarship, the Dean’s Honor Award and various recognitions in the fields of periodontology, orthodontics and implantology.

Finissant, 2010, Campus Démosthène: Peter Abbandonato est un joueur de hockey exceptionnel depuis son enfance, Peter a été sélectionné par les Huskies de Rouyn-Noranda dans la ligue junior majeur du Québec (LHJMQ). En 2019, il remporte avec son équipe l’un des trophées les plus prestigieux et les plus convoités dans le sport nordaméricain: la Coupe Memorial. Peter est maintenant un joueur de hockey professionnel. Il joue actuellement avec l’équipe de sa ville natale dans la ligue américaine de hockey (AHL): Le Rocket de Laval!

Finishing class of 2002, Socrates II campus: Joseph Polossifakis has been a member of the national fencing team since 2009. In 2016, he competed in the Rio Olympics, placing first in the individual sabre event. He currently works for Petro-Canada.

Graduating class of 1999 Socrates IV campus: Dr. Alicia LambrinakosRaymond, is a pediatrician at the Montreal Children’s Hospital. She is a specialist in neonatology, having studied at the University of Ottawa. She also earned a master’s degree in healthcare quality from Queens University in 2019. In addition to saving lives, Alicia was a member of Canada’s synchronized skating team, taking 6th place at the World Championships in 2007-2008.

Graduating class of 2005, Socrates V campus: Katerina Kostopoulos is a lawyer. She completed her bachelor’s degree in civil law at Université de Montréal. Prior to her legal studies, Katerina obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University with a major in Political Science and a double minor in Philosophy and Neo-Hellenic Studies. During her studies, Katerina was vice-president of McGill’s Hellenic Student Hellenic Students’ Association. She has received various distinctions for her academic for her academic achievements, including the McGill Neo-Hellenic Scholarship and the the Hellenic Scholarship Foundation Hellenic Scholarship Foundation.

Graduating class of 2009 Socrates III campus: Angelos Tsalafos is a doctoral student at Las Vegas University in Nevada . He is also a hockey player for UNLV Athletics (ACHA). He plays for the Greek national ice hockey team. Their last tournament was August 23 to 27, 2023 in Florida (2023 AMERIGOL LATAM CUP).
