January 30th is the date of the feast of the Three Hierarchs, St. Basil the Great, St. Gregory the Theologian and St. John Chrysostom. These three saints are among the greatest professors and pastors of the history of the Church. For this reason, students from each of the Socrates-Demosthenes campuses were visited by Pater Zizis and Pater Lambros. The latter celebrated a liturgy after having spoken of the significance of this religious holiday and the reason why the Orthodox Church decided to celebrate the three saints together on January 30th.

The students listened with respect and interest to the story of the first teachers who sowed the roots of learning.

Thank you.
