DUTIES:

  • Prepare and teach the course according to the program;
  • Organize and supervise socio-cultural, sports, and recreational activities;
  • Evaluate students’ performance and progress; monitor students’ tardiness and absences, participate in work-related meetings;
  • Perform other duties that may normally be assigned to teaching staff.

Physical Education Teacher

PHYSICAL EDUCATION TASKS Primary: 600 minutes

  • 2 periods per cycle for 6 classes
  • Monday to Friday from 12:10 PM to 3:00 PM

Full-time teachers for the French, English and Greek programs

Socrates-Demosthenes School is looking for teachers for the preschool and primary level, for the French, Greek and English program.

Candidates who wish to apply must, among other things, hold a valid teaching certificate or permit in Quebec, have a good knowledge of the education program as well as an excellent command of French both orally and written. Any relevant educational experience will be considered.

Socrates-Demosthenes School is also looking for teachers for its substitute list.
