Students, parents and staff of the Socrates III campus of the Socrates-Demosthenes School celebrated the arrival of spring with their annual Protomagia festival. Unfortunately, the weather was not up to par for the party, but the spirit of festivity was there. Our parent volunteers had a bbq to feed students, parents, teachers and all the other guests who came by.

As tradition dictates, each class had prepared a wreath of flowers that was then hung on the door of the classroom. The students also painted a flower pot. The following week, they all planted flower seeds in their pot.

At the gym, a DJ kept the atmosphere festive and played a mixture of Greek music and pop music (to please the youth).
Finally, two make-up artists transformed the faces of our children. You could only see butterflies, dragons and other imaginary and colorful shapes.
What an unforgettable day!
Thank you very much to the parents’ committee of Socrates III and to the staff and volunteers who gave their precious time on May 1, 2017. Finally, we thank the parents who, with their donations, helped alleviate the economic burden of the event.
It was really a kali protomagia!
