The Alexandria VII race: The outdoor event par excellence of the Socrates-Demosthenes School

After several discounts due to the climate, the 7th edition of the Alexandria race finally took place on June 3rd at the Laval Nature Center.
Despite an unusually cold and wet climate for a month of June, more than 1,200 students marched, according to their age group, in the cross-country courses of 500m, 1km and 2km. The sportsmanship and good mood were at the rendezvous.
This event also demonstrates the importance of physical activity and sport in the curriculum of all Socrates-Demosthenes School campuses.
Everything was in place for a perfect day. An electronic timing service was on site as well as two resource persons for first aid. We must not forget also the presence of our DJ, who put a festive atmosphere and guides who helped the students in the course of their courses.
At the end of their tests, the children were invited to gather for the medal ceremony. All the children, parents and teachers of all campuses warmly applauded the students who took the podium.

We congratulate all the students who took part and made a lot of effort to cross the finish line.
We thank all volunteer parents for their involvement and work during the race.
We also thank the parents who encouraged the students during the race.
Thank you to the teachers and management for your support.

See you next year!
